Fun Fishing! Caught all the kings we wanted while live bait trolling, releasing some short Cobia and Plenty of Sandbar action aboard the Fire Fight with Capt Joe and this Awesome group from Virginia
From the surf, all the way to the deep, the fishing produced well out of Port Canaveral. Shark fishing was really good in about 15/20 feet of water right outside the pier area. Red drum were mixed in the catch, and Goliath Grouper were plentiful, too! Giants. Tarpon and Kingfish have been nearshore on bunker schools. Finally, a normal summer for a change, lol.
Moving to the reefs, Kings, Mahi, Sails and cobia have been the norm on the slow live bait troll. Thats the best bet right now — live bait trolling the reefs. Just an awesome week. Sun, fun and limits. Go get ’em!
