It was a good week. Unfortunately it was a quick good weather week so only a few days offshore. The end is in sight though. Wind forecast seems to let off. Once that happens King Mackeral it is.
Bottom fishing was good. big baits meant big fish! get something big and live and send it down. We fished a lot of 21 and 27. We also fished the reefs shallow and loaded up with big triggers and lanes. The good eaters some say.
We did lose a few to the sharks but overall we did well and everyone was happy.
King Mackeral were scattered on the reefs and there were several mahi scattered on the reef as well. 75 feet on wire line.
