More winds and not much offshore to fish with in this weather. But, guess what species came in close to shore to play? Yes, kingfish and a nice mix of jack crevales. Big ones as well. Gotta love a 30 minute fight.
This was another tough weathered week. Just a few days to get out there and make things happen. On a positive note, The kings fired, making many customers happy. We did a little bottom dropping and managed some AJs. Many of our trips had to turn into nearshore trips...
This was a great week. Winds gave us about 3 days to fish offshore and we capitalized on that. A slow pic of the mahi fish mixed in with the steady king bite. Thank the lord they showed up a few weeks ago.
Fishing was really good and our staple fish returned. The mighty king mack. Very nice size fish as well. some pushing the 30# class. mixed in the kings have been a steady number of the maui maui. and even some blackfins.
This wasn’t a bad week at all, It definitely could’ve been worse. Have you seen the coming weeks’ winds?. 6/10 if i had to label it. We had to cancel a lot of offshores but we crushed it with the sharks.
We had several days of amazing bottom fishing including grouper and AJs. Kings started to show up steadily so that’s a great sign of things to come!
We finally had some nicer weather since we basically had a 2 week hurricane offshore the water …
Managed some nearshore shark trips and for the most part it paid off. Some nice black tips and some large sand tiger sharks…
We have canceled pretty much the entire month except the last few days. The last few days have been beautiful. Fishing was ok, The kings were very far south and not that good of a bite.
Consistency has been the word of the month so far. It’s consistently windy with a few calm days and the fishing has been banner on those days…
A tough week with the winds but a banner week the days we were able to fish…
A banner week – no Canaveral Dump! Enjoy and Happy New Year!
Not a bad week back. We only took Christmas day off.
Zack goes for the win this week on yet another hoo fish. Guys got like 5 this year and believe me that is banner!!
Again folks…this is the time to go! limiting every single day with the mighty King Macks. You gotta love light tackle fishing for some large fish.
What an awesome week once again! Continuing on with our Captains of the week, we have Capt Joe Byrd, a true Fired Up Charters asset for over 7 years.
The fish are here! Capt Morgan, a Cocoa native and a Coast Guard veteran, is our spotlight captain this week. Let him take care of your next fishing trip!
Another week of some decent fishing~ Captain Arron, the younger brother of Captain Tyler, is in our spotlight this week. He’s also a tugboat operation in Canaveral…
Captain Zach Shedd is the first captain we will be highlighting. Originally from North Carolina, he resides in Port Canaveral and has been with us for 3.5 years, becoming an integral part of our Fired Up family.
We had to adapt and overcome the windy days but pulled off some awesome trips. Grouper Port Canaveral
As I start these quick weekly reports, I’m always thinking of how to sum up a week differently…
Another week of amazing fishing off the Coast of Cocoa Beach. This is heaven!
Shark fishing was a 10/10 and made a lot of happy customers.
Fired Up Fishing Team with an amazing week offshore fishing. We crushed it again. I had the honor to fun fish with the crew.
