An Amazing Week!
An absolutely amazing week of perfect weather and perfect fishing.
GroundHog Week Fishing
A repeat of an amazing week of fishing topped off with beautiful lake atlantic weather. All species are active and chewing.
Another Amazing Week!
Another Amazing week here at Fired Up Fishing Charters. Amazing weather and beautiful ocean conditions. This is normally a report written for June conditions but now finally enjoying here in August. I swear this year has been trying to say the least. From 25 knot...
What A Week Fishing!
What a week! Beautiful calm lake Atlantic all week. few scattered showers but weather was a dream. Fishing was also a dream. Bunker have been plentiful and that makes for a great start to the day.
Port Canaveral Fishing!
The winds are non-existent and the bunkers are plentiful. Hot is the word of the week though. Is it me or has it just been brutal? To our guests, please hydrate the day prior and day of. Lay off alcohol and coffee. it’s HOT.
pretty good week
For the most part this was a pretty good week of fishing. The reefs and a few wrecks seemed to hold fish. If you’re passing a wreck, Stop and try it
Happy 4th of July!
Bunker, If you want to get a good shot on them get there before daylight like Captain Joe does. They are loaded in the port and 1 throw will do. Once those stupid cruise ships come in the bait gets scattered. Don’t leave home without a box of frozen minnows or sardines just in case.
Week Ended with a Bang!
t was not the greatest start to a week but ended off with a bang. Capt Tyler nailed a 42LB BlackBelly!
Not the Easiest Fishing
Every day all of us captains talk and always say, when is it just gonna be easy and fun again. Our guys are doing extremely well but it’s a struggle.
Tough and Frustrating Week
We had the first few days that were pretty weather and good fishing then out of nowhere the weeds moved in. Yes, the weeds. NOT the square grouper weeds but the sargasm ocean weeds. Made it virtually impossible to keep a baited hook clean. It pushed the limits on the captains.
No Complaints Fishing Canaveral
Well, besides the first 3 days of heavy winds when they said no winds, Then it was great. Had a lot of nice fish the last few days for sure.
Full Moon blocks Bite
This week wasn’t as good as last week at all, but a huge congrats to Capt Zach for placing 2nd and 3rd with the local tournament.
Awesome fishing canaveral!
What an awesome week we’ve had! Finally a true break in the weather looks like good things to come. calm winds on the way finally.
The Fishing Is Actually Good
Jack crevales schooling around (gotta look) cobia swimming up to the boat, and mahi in 65 feet… yes 65 to all you MAHI ONLY peeps. well maybe 75.
A Yogi Bera kind of week
More winds and not much offshore to fish with in this weather. But, guess what species came in close to shore to play? Yes, kingfish and a nice mix of jack crevales. Big ones as well. Gotta love a 30 minute fight.
The Kings Fired
This was another tough weathered week. Just a few days to get out there and make things happen. On a positive note, The kings fired, making many customers happy. We did a little bottom dropping and managed some AJs. Many of our trips had to turn into nearshore trips...
Winds were Great!
This was a great week. Winds gave us about 3 days to fish offshore and we capitalized on that. A slow pic of the mahi fish mixed in with the steady king bite. Thank the lord they showed up a few weeks ago.
Our Staple Fish Return!
Fishing was really good and our staple fish returned. The mighty king mack. Very nice size fish as well. some pushing the 30# class. mixed in the kings have been a steady number of the maui maui. and even some blackfins.
sharks, sharks sharks
This wasn’t a bad week at all, It definitely could’ve been worse. Have you seen the coming weeks’ winds?. 6/10 if i had to label it. We had to cancel a lot of offshores but we crushed it with the sharks.
Mother Nature Kind this week
We had several days of amazing bottom fishing including grouper and AJs. Kings started to show up steadily so that’s a great sign of things to come!
Ocean Almost Pretty
We finally had some nicer weather since we basically had a 2 week hurricane offshore the water …
ANother Typical Week
Managed some nearshore shark trips and for the most part it paid off. Some nice black tips and some large sand tiger sharks…
Last Few Days Beautiful…
We have canceled pretty much the entire month except the last few days. The last few days have been beautiful. Fishing was ok, The kings were very far south and not that good of a bite.
Consistency On the water
Consistency has been the word of the month so far. It’s consistently windy with a few calm days and the fishing has been banner on those days…
